I had planned and booked tickets to go to Kota Kinabalu (KK) after raya, so me and my travel partner gonna rock it. Sooooo eventho I have my practical exams in 3 days (It's not my fault the subject I'm taking falls on the last day!) I am giving myself the priviledge to daydream about things I wanna do when I'm in KK.
1. I wanna see the sunset at Tanjung Aru. And maybe visit that aunty who have the stall at the Tanjung Aru Beach Food Court. I dunno whether she knows me still or not but maybe I need to bring my mum's pic everywhere I go to get discounts cz my mum, she knows people. All I remember is her sayap bakar was da bomb.
2. Dinner at the night market near the pasar besar KK. You can choose any seafood you like and have it grilled ur way. Tho I'm craving for the Soto Makassar. Afterwards probably can bring my friend for a walk at the waterfront.
3. For touristy aspects (cz my friend had never been to Sabah) prolly could drag her to the Sabah Museum or Monsopiad Cultural Village.
4. Sayap bakar at Tanjung Lipat. Oh I hope D loves them too.
5. Breakfast roti kahwin n half boiled egg at Fook Yuen.
6. Go island hopping. I've only been to Manukan Island, I hope to see the Mamutik and Sapi islands this time. And indulge in the crystal clear waters!
7. Go to Kundasang and Kinabalu Park. I want to visit the Desa Cattle too it's new and kinda trippy but yeah it's the craze now so mustt goooo. And maybe we'll drop by at Poring.
8. Meet some friends. I hope so! Tho I wouldn't expect much cz we're going on weekdays and my friends already have careers so there. But I guess dinner should be fine aite...
9. Go to Pasar Philippines to meet my mum's friends- nah, scratch that- to do some souvenir shopping, tho i dont think my family want any lol except maybe dried shrimps and anchovies for my mum lol. D wants to buy seafood so I'll become an aunty who knows the way around Pasar Ikan KK lolness.
Yeah that's about it.
If given a choice there's more things to do and more people to meet but time is a luxury for me. Huhu.
Can't wait!
Now just hope my exams goes well, ameen, and afterwards I can do whatever I wanna do in the 2 months holidays.
Bye! Assalamualaykum!
